Couple fish I need help with identification. The top one I caught today. I'm in Florida visiting my grandparents and fished a pond nearby with tilapia and bass and apparently these guys. I saw them and originally thought they were grass carp so I threw some bread out there and just like a grass carp, it took the bait and it fought like one too. Once on the bank I noticed it's colors were a bit different. The guys nearby rushed over and said it was a fat mullet. So I was just curious if they were right and if you guys knew what kind of mullet it was? It was in freshwater. As far as the second fish, I stumbled onto that photo while uploading the other and noticed I still don't know what it is. I caught it about a year ago in a really small creek back in Missouri on a nightcrawler. Real bad picture but you guys are experts. Thanks so much guys.</p>
Second fish is a golden shiner- did not double check location.
It is all perspective!

Thanks guys! Also, would any of you have any tips on catching tilapia on the spawn? I try to do the trick of putting the bait on their nest but they always run off and rarely come back
Nice, man, you got a mullet! Those are cool!
Fishn sure is neat
