Bass Fishin
<p>This past weekend I had to pick up my mom in central Alabama and did some fishing on the way.</p> <p>In northern Georgia I fished the Coosawattee River and caught Redeye,</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/R1280x960.jpg" /></p> <p>A few years ago I fished this&nbsp;river and caught this nice&nbsp;Alabama Spotted&nbsp;Bass also.</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/IMG_18951280x959.jpg" /></p> <p>Next I fished the Chattahoochee System and caught another Redeye on a tributary called Snake Creek.</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/RSnake1280x959.jpg" /></p> <p>And here are a&nbsp;two more&nbsp;from that creek, Redbreast and Snail.</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/DSCN26101280x960.jpg" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/DSCN25661280x960.jpg" /></p> <p>Fishing the Chattahoochee main channel I caught a&nbsp;some Shoal Bass</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/SHChattahoochee21280x960.jpg" /></p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/SHChattahoochee3.jpg" /></p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/SHChattahoochee1280x960.jpg" /></p> <p>And the introduced Alabama Spotted</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/SPChattahoochee1280x961.jpg" /></p> <p>And finally&nbsp;I got some time in on the Choctafaula near Tuskegee, AL and caught some more feisty Alabama Spotted.</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo220/Macabil/SPTallapoosa1280x959.jpg" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Are you just using a clear

Are you just using a clear plastic bag as a photo tank in some of those shots? I'm going to try that. Beats carrying around a tank and worrying about scratches. Not likely to be good enough for scientific publication, but good enough for personal records. Cool fishing trip. Some day I hope to get some time to fish the south.

Dang right them's some good
Dang right them's some good lookin' bass! I'm about 5 hours from that part of Georgia, so that's definitely on my to-do list. @Doc, what might work best for you to get one is to come down my way. There's been extensive stocking of redeye bass all over eastern Kentucky, and I'm maybe 20 minutes from the state line. I've kicked around the idea of a mini bass roundup with EeboneCapone, Normus, iam2crown, Moose, J Dunfee, Ken, and a few others on here. Let me know if you ever want to try it!

Just let me know. There's 4
Just let me know. There's 4 of us here on the site from my hometown (amazing for a town of 291 people). I'll be doing the research to figure out where we're most likely to find them. I think I'm going to try to get Inkmaster to ride over to the Cumberland River with me next Monday and see if we can figure them out, since I don't have the cash to visit him at work.....
