That is such a monster shorthead.  Awesome accomplishment, may your record last a very long time.

You have earned the Golden Fish Award!

I caught my very first sucker ever, a quillback, on April 11, 2010, in the very same creek and got the golden fish for that.

The creek is very generous in April. It gave me my lifer shorthead on 4/22/2010, my lifer white sucker on 4/29/2010, and my first 4-pound shorthead on 4/21/2015. And now The Queen on 4/9/2021.

She is such a chunk!  Great write-up.  Congrats!

What a fatty!  Too bad the MN record will never be broken, unless it is revoked from a bad ID, 27" and 7lbs 15 oz. I don't think that was a shorthead.

Smurph (or, as autocorrect calls you, "Smut-have") -- Getting the Minnesota shorthead record removed, along with others in various states, is a mission I'm working on.
