Week 9: Handline Mastery for GeluNumber1 Created: Sat, 08/01/2020 - 05:40 Default: No

Turns out casting with a handline isn't easy, but I got the job done. Ordered a cheap 6 dollar spool off of that one website, filled it with 10 lb mono and caught some fish. In order:

  • Bluegill sunfish, caught on a worm and hook weighted with splitshot under a bobber
  • Pumpkinseed sunfish, caught on the same hook, splitshot and bobber (different worm)
  • Largemouth bass, caught on a texas rigged stickbait
  • Green sunfish, caught on a jig with worm
  • The tiniest black bullhead I've ever seen, caught on a freelined worm chunk and size 8 hook.
