Stream Flow Data on your Phone

Just thought I'd point this out since I know some of you guys make use of the USGS stream flow info: the USGS real-time stream flow monitoring website has now launched a new mobile version that allows you to get stream gage readings or water temperatures on your phone in the field. It really comes in handy when you find yourself on one of those outings where it seems like every river you find is blown out and flooded.

Anyway, the link is http://m.waterdata.usgs.gov/. It's a good idea to bookmark it on your phone just in case you need it someday! The service is in beta testing right now so if you run into any problems using it, please report the errors directly to the USGS webmaster (not me!).
