PB silver redhorse

With the wether being warmer this last weekend thought I'd give the spring redhorse spot a try again. I was out there 2 weeks prior with no luck so was hoping this weather would make the bite better. Finally it showed itself and first thing I saw was shiney scales, it was a big silver redhorse I then got super excited landed it and had my new pb silver at 22" and around 5lbs. To top off a good day of fishing already my friend and I got a channel cat double header, they weren't big but set the mood that spring is showing itself more everyday and fish are getting

Great Redhorse! Silvers are true beasts, they easily fight three times as hard as Largemouth Bass or Walleye!

In the spring a roughfisher's fancy turns to thoughts of fish like that.

It's not really an expedition report. Just a heads up that I'm going to change this to a notable catch tomorrow. Again, great catch man!
