<p>This was an easy one to overlook, but the MN regulations this year indicated that anglers needed to consult the ND rules regarding shore fishing on the Red River. Sure enough, it looks like anglers need a ND license to shore fish on the ND side of these boundary waters. Boaters can use either license. This kind of sucks, since most of my favorite spots are on the ND side, and I don't feel like buying a ND license just for this.</p>
