Koi?

I noticed that Koi can't be found on the species page, is that because it hasn't been caught yet or is it a sub species?

Koi is Cyprinius carpio, the common carp, just bred into colorful forms!

Koi is a variant of a common

Koi is a variant of a common carp. Some people choose to count them as a different fish (myself included). The same case presents itself for Rainbow trout/Steelhead/Golden Rainbow trout, its "technically the same species" but there are obvious differences in appearance. For the sake of Roughfish.com though Koi, Common Carp, Mirror Carp all = Carp.
