Kids in the June Contest?

OK, who's got kids interested in a low pressure kids' species contest? I have 2, but who knows how much they'll really be into it when it's hot out or they'd rather swim. They do want to fish. Definitely.

Same questions as last year come up: should the kids really be competing for kid with most species? Should there be age brackets, like 0-8, and 9-16? At what age is a kid not a kid for the purposes of the contest? If there's to be a champ, what's his or her (probably her) prize? Can they share a button with a parent? What's the punishment for an adult who tries to dress up as a kid?

I'll post this in the contest discussion forum too, but I figure a lot of people don't scroll all the way down there.

OK

If you can get a quorum of ten kids involved, I can easily set up a seperate contest ranking page for it!

My son is 2 he hooks the fish

My son is 2 he hooks the fish himself and reels them in!

He asks me to take him fishing at least once a week so he would be in.

It is all perspective!

My 10 year old daughter Mimi

My 10 year old daughter Mimi came up to me out of the blue Tuesday and asked if kids could fish it! I told her yes, and we would have to come up with an awesome user name and register her with roughfish first. The first outing of the contest last year she outfished both my brother and me in species count......

I know my Niece will be

I know my Niece will be fishing it with my dad as well.

Any Ideas for a Prize?
I would be willing to do something up. If you think there would be any interest in it.
Perhaps an Illustration of a Brightly colored sunfish attached to a plaque that has the winning fisherpersons name on it and 2012 roughfish contest. Something tough so it wont get broken.
Its just an idea

A question:

A question:

What's the best way for small kids to enter when their parents don't fish and aren't members? Does it make sense for an 8 year old to have an account here? Or should the parent sign on the site for the purpose of handling the kid's entries? That seems better to me. I know a couple people who don't fish but have kids who love fishing and want to compete.

Another one:

Will the kids' contest setup allow one adult member of the site to have multiple kids' entries under the same login?

Come on, parents! Isn't

Come on, parents! Isn't fishing really just another way of brainwashing your kids to think like you?

Don't forget that once they hit their teens you might not be able to convince them to fish with you for a few years, so you owe it to them and to yourself to get as much time in now as you can. Plant the seed well now and they'll be more likely to come back to fishing after they stop worrying about being cool.

Signing up kids means you

Signing up kids means you have to register them with their own accounts on the site, and that requires a separate email address (unless Corey can flip a switch that allows multiple accounts with one address).

I didn't want to use my work email or create email accounts for a 5 and 7 year old, so I used the gmail + trick. Anyone with gmail can do this.

After the user name portion of your address just add a + symbol and whatever text you want. So username@gmail.com can become username+kidsname@gmail.com.

I think Yahoo allows you to add alternate user names/addresses under your main account, but I don't have yahoo.

If you have a work email, you might ask your IT person if there's a way to have aliases that still go to your inbox.
