Juvenile Chub or a Notropis?
<p><a href="https://consmith.smugmug.com/Creek-Chub-Semotilus-Atromaculatus-/2019/i-t46NfPq/A" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="https://consmith.smugmug.com/Creek-Chub-Semotilus-Atromaculatus-/2019/i-t46NfPq/A" /></a>Caught this guy in Chili, NY and first thought it was a Juvenille Creek Chub. However, after looking at it a little more, it doesn't really resemble a Chub in my opinion. I didnt really count fin rays or anything because i figured it was just a chub.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>(p.s. click the blue question mark thing to see the image)</p>

Not 100% sure but

I don't think it is either a creek chub or a Notropis. It looks more like a juvenile Cutlips Minnow to me. Either that or bluntnose minnow.

I spent half my money on fishing, gambling, alcohol, women and billiards. The other half I wasted.

Dorsal spot

that dorsal spot is pretty definitive for creek chub. Also cut lips would have a way different mouth.
