I was hoping if anyone ever hit triple digits it would be be me but I should have made the effort sooner. 105 is certainly a record to be reckoned with! Many of those species being previous targets of mine that I had failed to catch. I am truly honored to come in 2nd to another roughfish.com legend.
This was another fantastic contest, with several species added to my lifelist that I've wanted to catch for years, and a longnose gar nearly 20 inches longer than my previous pb. There were of course the usual disappointments: fish I couldn't find, fish I lost (I had a big chubsucker break my line and my heart). But that doesn't mean this wasn't an amazing month that will not be forgotten.
