Catfish, Channel Gunnar

On a fly behind the library after dark. Walleye fishermen on shore scoffed at my fly rod. I hope they heard the buzz of the reel and imagined I had something huge on the line. (Edit Jan. 2013: when I caught this fish--the first catfish of any kind I ever caught--a local jackass told me it was a bullhead. I looked on this site and saw that barbels starting white and getting dark meant brown, so I called it a brown bullhead and then never really looked at it again. It now looks to me like a channel cat, so I've removed my other channel and re-specified this one since it was my first.) (Now someone will tell me it's really a bullhead.)
