Hey man, this doesn't appear to look like a highfin carpsucker. Note that highfins typically have a shorter body and a much longer quill. This fish is likely a quillback or river carpsucker!

Looks like a textbook Quillback to me. Super sweet catch - many anglers on this site have shouted obscenities while trying and failing to catch one.

The first dorsal ray of the Highfin reaches to at least the end of the dorsal fin when folded back.
