I took Catfish Jr down to a spot where we've unsuccessfully chased longnose in the past. By sight fishing, I was able to get a male to commit to my presentation. Boost! Quickly after that, another Male. Boost! Then, Catfish Jr was able to land one! Maximum Boost level achieved!! After I boosted a female, we had to head back home for other family non-fishing activities (Even that can't dampen our Boosting endorphins).
These four catches were all legitimate bites of a crawler chunk on a hook. I've had alot of failure with this in the past, making today even better. We don't have alot of those other beautiful roughfish up in our neck of the woods, but these unique longnose are notable to me!

That is so cool! Success is even sweeter when it comes after failed attempts. Nice job, great catch and thanks for getting your son onto one too!

Way to go Vanner. That is a sweet catch! That just goes to show once again the more spots you check and try out, the bigger the pay off.
