June 2019 in one photo

Constant gray clouds, rain, lightning and thunder? Check. Water higher and faster than normal? Check. Harder than usual to find fish, but always able to catch something? Also beautiful? Check. That little rainbow, and sun breaking through the clouds, encapsulates the whole contest: didn't manage to get a channel cat or drum until near the end, but also caught lots of cool fish I didn't expect.

Mouth of the Temperance River at Lake Superior.  I didn't fish here but it's a beautiful spot and I had caught my longnose sucker just an hour earlier nearby.

A Soaked Fisherman and His Trusty Net

This is a photo of me after landing Goldenfishberg's buffalo. Yes, I am soaked. And yes, the buffalo went in that net. Somehow.
