<p>I was impressed by the size of this Logperch I caught today. <img alt="" src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc281/mjchanning/P1000803_zps17dd9509.jpg" /> <img alt="" src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc281/mjchanning/P1000800_zpsc658ae0c.jpg" /></p>
The only one I've ever caught was a little over 5 inches long. It's on my lifelist on here. It looks like these are in about that same size range, which is pretty cool! I really like these little dudes, one of my favorite micro species.......

A giant Logperch Moose caught from the Ozarks. Dudes got some big ass mitts too. They say Logperch reach 8 inches. This one was probably around 6.
I've had them to 6.5-7" and saw a few that were definitely bigger. I bet in an artificial environment, it would be possible to grow a real porker logperch.

I've read documentation of 7.5-inch Roanoke logperch too, even though they're usually 3-4 inches. I still haven't caught one though.

I've only caught one so far, but it was on a 1/8 oz trout jig. I think 6 inch one are common here. Guys catch them routinely on smallish inline spinners. I'll have to figure out the photo uploading thing and start photographing the dish I catch. Extensive life list , but few that have been photographed.
