Erimyzon sucetta (Lake Chubsucker)

A small species of sucker, Lake Chubsuckers live in still, weedy waters and feed on tiny organisms. The Lake Chubsucker is very similar to the creek chubsucker. However, Lake Chubsuckers have a lower lateral line scale count (37 or fewer versus 39 or more for the Creek Chubsucker) and a higher dorsal fin ray count (11-12 versus 10-11 for the Creek Chubsucker).
