Thanks! We didnt master the species by any means. We had a small cluster of them come thru and were lucky enough to catch just one a piece, within a couple minutes of eachother. And then it was back to hammering dink yellow perch for the duration...
The day I caught/hooked/marked tons I could buy even a tiny perch, for whatever reason. After that I just got them around the dink Perch like you guys did. Out there in the void I hole hop a lot, for any species. Seems to make a difference when the fish are mostly relating to acres of mostly featureless flats.
