believe it or not, that was the biggest fish that was in that stretch of the stream, most were half the size of that one. but that was the smallest one that could fish my hook in it's mouth.
it is a bit strange, I realy don't know what I was more excited about, that tiny one or the 6 incher that broke my line as I landed it. one thing I know for sure is that those wild little trout are far more rewarding than those stocked fish that don't know how to fight and will bite anything, these beauties require hours of fishing time to catch, it took 5 trips to the stream to suss out my first one! (the baby)
