First trout and most beautiful place I've ever been able to fish. Hiked up three or so miles from floor of Lamoille Canyon. Lake was crystal clear, with a snow shield reaching down a slope almost to water even in late summer. Caught this gem of a little brookie on dry fly the second it hit the water. He is a great original, to be appreciated poetically, for he is not a demanding game fish.
