How do you id the lane snapper from the spotted rose snapper?

Spotted Rose is the Lane's sister species in the eastern pacific. With a few exeptions (Bluespotted Cornetfish, Brassy Drummer, Scrawled Filefish) identical fish on the opposite side of the isthmus are considered seperate species. I'd be curious to see if genetic work has been done on the these two.

Oh, thanks. I got confuse because the other entries said they were caught in the gulf of mexico, probably just lanes then. Seems like a similar thing to the mangrove red snapper.
