Shiner Identification

Hey guys, I caught this fish the other day and I don't really know what it is. It looks like a common shiner, but my experience with micros is limited. I hoped some more experienced people could help me out.

It was caught in central NJ.

Thanks so much, and tight lines!

I caught a common shiner last

I caught a common shiner last night in my creek. It looked alot like yours. I'll put pictures of in my Creek Micros gallery tonight so you see it.

I was disapointed that it was a common shiner because that seems to be what I always catch when I go microfishing.

At least one pic is now uploaded

I couldn't manage to get the pics on lastnight. I was fishing late for bass. But today I just put one on.

I am really happy because I just caught a really nice fish. A beast that you just don't catch everyday in overfished/illegaly fished northern Lake Michigan. They are the most common predator in Michigan, but big ones out of the big lake are always a treasure. I am going to put it on the notable catches page.
