Fishing in Michigan

I'm heading to Michigan(in the Hastings/Grand Rapids area) tomorrow and am looking to knock off a few lifers while I'm there. I'm really up for any new species but a few of interest are: Creek Chub, Northern Sunfish, Yellow and White Perch, any species of dace or darters, and possibly redhorse. If anyone has any ideas of where to try It would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yankee Springs SRA

If you're closer to Hastings Yankee Springs State Recreation Area might be worth a try. I camped at Deep Lake there a few years ago and a few small Yellow Perch among many small pumpkinseed and bluegill. Blackstripe topminnow which It looks like you need I've had at boatlaunches at Hall Lake and Chief Noonday Lake. If you're in Grand Rapids you should try the sixth street dam, the salmon are running right now so it will be crowded but there are a ton of species to be had around there. We have gotten a lot of rain so I'm not sure what the river will look like at 6th street,

2018 Goals: Bring Lifelist to 100, Greater Redhorse, Burbot, Bowfin, Pink Salmon, Banded Killifish, Any Gar, Any Sturgeon.
