Default font?

Anyone know the name of the default font this forum uses in the post box?  When I type or quote it's one thing, but when I compose off a text document and copy to the post box it's always a different font.  I believe I can add fonts to TextEdit on the Macbook so my posts are all uniform fonts, just not sure of which font it should be.

Or is the problem something different?  I did click many buttons when feeling out the new forum functions, perhaps I messed something up on my end?  Not a big issue, it just looks strange in a post to have mixture of  2-3 different kinds of letters and I don't care for it.  Any help appreciated.

I wanna be like the rest of you, but I can't figure out how to do it!

Verdana?

I could be mistaken but it looks like Verdana to me...

Ahhh...

Thank you, Reekfish.  I had the forum default that we're reading pegged as Lucida Sans Unicode, closest I could find by name in the TextEdit application was Lucida Grande.  Both look the same to me, Verdana looks about the same as well.  Benefit of using Verdana is that I can use italics in it, not so with Lucida Grande.

Still have no idea which one it actually is, but your suggestion made me look at different fonts I wouldn't have looked at.  Looks to be 12 pt.

This sentence and all below is Verdana according to my app, looks very similar to either of the two mentioned above.  Still typing in Verdana, but can also italicize as seen by the example.

Forum spacing is neither single or double, but somewhere in between.  I gather the best way to remedy this part is to copy/paste a piece of forum prose and let the given app do it's best to match it.  Seems to work and is easier than typing in the exact specs, pasting matches the font color as well on my end.

Thanks again, this makes my end of things a bit easier.

The verdana's a slam dunk. I

The verdana's a slam dunk. I think the forum default may also be set to 1 1/2 line spacing (or even double-spaced).
