most likely, wild goldfish
if there were any stunted barbels or dorsal spine, then goldXcarp hybrid
if there are goldfish cousins in your area (Crucian & Prussian carp -- very rare in N. America), then ID gets REALLY difficult
P.E.T.A. sucks!!! Plants are living things, too -- they're just easier to catch!
Juvenile carp. Goldfish and crucians, gibel, etc have less elongated snouts.
The barbels will grow in later.

Probably hatched this year. Common carp are one of the fastest growing fish during their first couple of years.
