Request for inclusion of Sunshine Bass, M. chrysops × M. saxatilis in Spring Species contest.

My wife (tucunare) and I both caught a couple beautiful Hybrid stripers (a.k.a."Sunshine Bass") on Lake Conroe today. While not naturally occurring fish in our waters (just as Coho and Chinook shouldn't be in the Great Lakes), they provide great sport in reservoirs all across the South and are just plain awesome fish! Would you please add them to the list of contest eligible species? Thanks!

Contest hybrids

We would love to see pictures! You and your wife can count them as one or the other parent species, but they are not a distinct species of their own, and also cannot count as both. Roughfish appreciates hybrid fish, but does not recognize them as true species, just as we do not recognize things like Lahontan Cutthroat as distinct from Cutthroat.

2018 Goals:
Quillback (Check)
Musky
10#+ Flathead Catfish
5 New Standard Species (Current Count: 3)

Right

Hybrids don't count as a seperate species - otherwise we would have to recognize the hundreds of possible sunfish hybrids. You can enter them as a striper or a white bass - either one.

Thanks and BTW....

WHAT TO DO ABOUT MY SON'S ACCOUNT??? (fish tackler)????? After entering his first 4 species last week, we have not been able to access his account! His password was the same as ours, and we cannot request a new password, because it goes to our email ( he doesn't have one, being 9). PLEASE ADVISE! He's getting upset about not being able to enter his new species!
