A Good Start to the New Year

My first fish of the year was a 36" pike. Given that my biggest fish last year was a 37" pike, I had the thought that it might be my biggest fish of the year. That thought was proven wrong the next day. It has been a goal of mine for a while to catch a 40" pike, and while this does not quite reach that mark, it is my personal best by a couple of inches.
