So me and my kids have been catching a few sunfish and I can't seem to figure out what it is. Really starting to lean towards a hybrid like in this post http://www.roughfish.com/content/hybrid-sunfish-0

Would love some input on this, thanks

And they definitely have some greenie in them. Probably green/bluegill. Possibly some pumpkinseed in the last one, but I'm not sure. Really nice fish, great to see. I'll bet they were aggressive scrappers, too.
Lol, one actually broke my sons fishingpole in half
I don't think the second one has any pumpkinseed in it, as I've caught multiple fish that look like that in ponds that I am 100% sure do not have pumpkinseed. It just has that slight mottle that greenies get when they get larger.
"I swear if you catch another drum"
Both look like bluegill x green to me.
SomewhereDownstream
The both look like Bluegill and Green Sunfish hybrids to me.
Thanks guys, I think it's pretty safe to say it's a green/bluegill
