River Burbot

SilverLake caught this awesome burbot from a Saginaw Bay tributary.  Great fish!  Are the burbot starting to run upstream already?!

Thanks for posting! This was caught close to the mouth, I believe they come in to eat Whitefish eggs, which are spawning this time of year. Did pretty well with my gf last weekend, ended up catching 18 of them!

More likely that their in there spawning as well with those whitefish.  Its that time of year for both species.  Man, 18 pout in a trip had to be a bunch of fun!
